Australia will give scholarship for Bangladeshi students in higher education Australian Government will award Australian awards scholarship for post-graduate and research in Australia. While studying in Australia through this scholarship, full support for scholars will be provided for priority issues for the development of Bangladesh.

Selection process:
Candidates will be selected through the following procedure.

Interview: Listed applicants will have an interview. This interview will be based on your potential research topics, your personal and leadership qualities, and how your research will apply to your country's development.

Result Notice: By September, you will be notified about the outcome of your application. If you are elected, you will have to sign an agreement with the Australian government.

Pre - Departer: Before you leave for Australia, you will have to participate in a pre-decision briefing in Dhaka. Briefing will help you prepare for your research and living in Australia.

Arrival and admission: After arrival in Australia, to be settled there and help you start your study. Through this host institution, you will be provided with an introductory academic program.

Return to home: After your graduation ends, you will have to return to the country for at least two years to contribute to the development of Bangladesh. In this case, you will be encouraged to use your new skills, knowledge and network.

Applicability of the application: Bangladeshi students will be able to apply for qualification. Women, disabled people and traditionally marginalized groups will also be able to apply. However, to qualify for the scholarship, the course of the English language skill, including valid results, must be met by the 1st February 2020.

Minimum qualifications in English: IELTS total score: minimum 6.5, Internet based TOEFL scores: Minimum 21 and PTE academic scores in all subjects: Minimum 58 (not acceptable under 50 under communication skills). Scores must be submitted with the application.

Women, disabled people and ethnic minorities are allowed to submit IELTS scores with at least 5.5 (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE scores). However, if selected for scholarship, the English language proficiency of their respective Australian institutions must be met for the need of admission.
